PROJECT SUMMARY

The Department of Immigration and Border Protection was formed by way of an Administrative Arrangements Order issued on 18 September 2013 and replaced the majority of the functions previously performed by the former Department of Immigration and Citizenship.

CONTRACT AWARD

TAMS initially were engaged by Department of Immigration in 2010 via public tender to provide comprehensive electrical services. These services were provided via facility manager Jones Lang Lasalle. In 2015 through the merger of Department of Immigration with Border protection, TAMS were engaged to continue providing maintenance services to the aggregated entity.

The scope of the delivery includes but not limited to: Area lighting, High Voltage reticulation, Minor installation works, Generator  maintenance, CCTV

System, Vehicle recognition systems, Compliance maintenance, Berth lighting towers, Cruise ship operations, and Ship Access/Airbridge systems.

The Department of Home Affairs requires high security clearance levels which we hold nationwide to gain access to armories, kennels, airports records rooms for example.
